Fashion internships in the UK are typically based in London so you’ll need to be able to live nearby. You may be able to find opportunities in other large cities such as Manchester and Birmingham. Fashion internships are also often unpaid so if you can’t get financial support or live rent-free with your family or a friend, you may need to be prepared to work a second job. In your final year, you will be assessed on your final project, which you will present in a professional context, such as a catwalk show or static exhibition. EAMA promotes the machinery and manufacturing supply chain, and the work of trade associations. The BFM is a trade association that represents domestic UK furniture and furnishing manufacturers. The Aluminium Federation is a trade association representing businesses who process, trade and work with aluminium. The ukDEA brings together organisations from all parts of the district energy sector in the UK, including owners, developers, operators, contractors and suppliers of equipment and services.

All of them are found near to each other which is very convenient for us as students to socialise easily. During these talks, we have the chance to attend a seminar where artists are presenting their work to us! That's an amazing way to be provided with an insight into how the industry works and be prepared for our working lives after graduation. On Tuesdays I have a lecture which is about two or two and a half hours, depending on how much we need to cover.
